Welcome to the idefics pages !
These pages offer you an introduction to the idefics simulation model for spray drift in chemical crop protection. Its development started at IMAG's in the mid 90's for so-called conventional boom sprayers in agriculture. IMAG is the Institute of Environmental and Agricultural Engineering, located in Wageningen, the Netherlands.

Basic concepts of the model, as well as physical background topics are covered, all related to the spray drift research at IMAG's.

Please feel free to contact us at if you have questions related to our research.
